Kavkaz Center is back online: after being closed by the Lithuanian authorities, it has now reopened on a server located in Finland. Reuters reports that "Nordic telecom operator TeliaSonera said on Saturday it was hosting the site... and that there were no grounds on which it could be closed down."
Update 11/10/2004: the site has now been closed. According to
YLE uutiset in Finland it was probably removed from the host by the site's maintainer.
The closure has been accompanied by the usual fuming from Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the Russian Duma, with Lavrov claiming that the site was closed down after Russian authorities contacted Finnish authorities - though the Finnish Foreign Ministry disputes this.
